I am a Certified Internet Webmaster (Yup, that’s what the CIW means). It’s crazy to think that I’ve been coding websites since the 90’s because I still find it exciting. There’s also a decade of experience working in public relations and marketing since my days working at the City of Aventura between 2002 – 2010. Since 2008, I’ve been busy working WordPress. From my earliest projects, I fell in love with this flexible and popular web software.
Back in 2011, Rosiemedia launched full time as a marketing firm. While we focused on delivering the practical Duct Tape Marketing system for small businesses, it was clear that most needed help with their website. Going back to my strengths as a web developer we started offering WordPress websites for small businesses.
Fast forward to 2017 and I have shifted my focus again. Rosiemedia is now a closed chapter. Due to health issues, I no longer have the ability to work outside of my full time job. My focus has turned to my lifelong desire to work in Higher Education and to focus on a quiet life of scholarly study and writing. I’m slowly working on a Master’s degree and appreciating the precious small moments life has to offer.
If our paths have crossed in the past, thank you for your support. If not, then undoubtedly we’ll meet sometime soon especially if you tend to visit Nova Southeastern University’s main campus.
Although I no longer work with small business owners, I still believe that they can truly leverage the Internet to successfully grow steady revenues. For that reason, I’m leaving this website up and running with its blog posts as a resource. There are a few very affordable resources for sale here. I’m using the proceeds to help cover medical expenses. Insurance doesn’t cover anything 100% and cancer can get expensive. I may post new content now and then on marketing or something more scholarly. Feel free to hang around for the ride! If you want to follow my journey through cancer, I’ve started a separate blog at http://realtimerosie.info
See you online,
